The journey with a child who has a life-limiting condition

I am the mother to 2 amazing boys: Declan who is 14 and Brendan Bjorn who sadly passed away on May 17th, 2022, at the age of 17. Brendan was born with congenital CMV which left him severely disabled and medically fragile. He was, and is, my angel. And while he is no longer an angel on this earth, I’ve no doubt that he now looks over me and his little brother from a place far more beautiful than I can imagine. This blog is about our journey together. This blog is about his journey; about being an angel in transition, and now, about him being a transitioned angel, forever watching over me and his younger brother, Declan, as our own lives transition without him.
